The Dashilab Design Hop, one of the main spots of the 2011 BJDW festival was the scenario chosen to present the Hutopolis research programme.

The lecture started with the facts that convert China in a massive change scenario and pointed out the new potentials of the metropolis. The discussion focused on the balance between the vertical and horizontal city and the principles that characterise each urban model.
